Born and raised in Maine, I’ve spent most of my life rooted in the communities and landscapes of this great state. After earning my degree in Biology, I entered the green industry in 1998, starting in landscaping but quickly discovering a passion for the lawn care and fertility side of the business.

 In 2001, I was given the opportunity to become an owner in The Turf Doctor, a lawn care company serving Southern Maine. Just two years later, I expanded the company’s reach by opening and managing a branch in Central Maine. By 2018, I was managing the entire company, guiding its growth and leading a dedicated team until The Turf Doctor was acquired by Senske Services in March 2024.

 Today, I continue to serve as Branch Manager, overseeing more than $7 million in annual revenue and leading a team of 35 talented employees.

 My leadership philosophy centers on empowering people to learn and grow, building trust, and on listening with empathy. I encourage my team to take ownership of their decisions, make mistakes, and find solutions — fostering real personal and professional development.

One of my greatest rewards, both as an owner and now as a manager, has been watching employees reach their financial goals, develop new skills, and build lives they’re proud of.
