Scott Roberts serves as the CEO of Southern Shade Tree Co. Inc., bringing over 25 years of experience in the green industry and nearly two decades of service to the company. Since joining Southern Shade Tree in 2005, Scott has played a key role in its expansion and reputation as a leading provider of landscape products and services to homebuilders, developers, and property managers across North and South Carolina.

Scott brings a deep understanding of large-scale landscape operations, field management, and plant production. His early experience in Sales Leadership for two of the nation’s largest nurseries helped shape his expertise in green goods, supply chain efficiency, and client service.

Under Scott’s leadership, Southern Shade Tree has continued to strengthen its reputation for dependability, quality, and innovation in the commercial landscape space. He holds multiple professional licenses and certifications, including NC Irrigation Contractor, NC Landscape Contractor, NC Plumber, NC Backflow Tester, and SC Nurseryman and Broker. Scott is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University.
