Jimmy Miller is an associate editor for Lawn & Landscape magazine. He joined the publication in 2018 as an assistant editor and has since become an award-winning reporter following the green industry. For his work at Lawn & Landscape, he’s earned several Turf and Ornamental Communicators awards, including a best-in-show Gardner Award for his work on the Choppy Waters podcast miniseries. Beyond writing articles, editing stories and posting podcasts, he also helps assemble the team’s Top 100 list each year.

Miller previously worked as a web editor at the Toledo Blade, freelanced for the Akron Beacon Journal’s sports department, and helped build News21’s Voting Wars project out in Phoenix. Outside of working at Lawn & Landscape, Miller is an adjunct journalism professor at Kent State University and the head coach of the speech and debate team at Stow-Munroe Falls High School. Miller graduated with a journalism degree from Kent State University in 2017, where the student newspaper was named Best in the Nation while he served as editor.
